Key Responsibilities of the Travel OR Registered Nurse: Provide
expert perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and
after surgical procedures Prepare and maintain the operating room
with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies Collaborate
closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical
technologists to ensure safe, efficient operations Maintain aseptic
technique and uphold strict infection control standards Monitor
patient status intraoperatively and respond effectively to
emergencies Document all perioperative care accurately and
comprehensively Support patients through post-operative care and
recovery as needed Requirements of the Travel OR Registered Nurse:
Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state) BLS
certification required Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room
RN experience in an acute care hospital Strong understanding of
surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile field management
