Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Weirton, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,722 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 13 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Weirton, West Virginia, 26062! Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience. Must have some prior exposure to Interventional Radiology and peripheral vascular cases. Must have experience with impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, roto. Must be comfortable with conscious sedation. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately. Description: The Cath Lab consists of 2 Cath Lab/IR suites, 1 Hybrid Room, and 7 Holding rooms. An average of 16 cases are performed daily. Job duties include pre-admission and post-care in the Holding area, procedural nursing in the lab, PICC line insertion, IV conscious sedation, and airway management. The equipment utilized includes impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, and roto. The electronic medical record system is GE MacLab, transitioning to Phillips Xper in 2025. There is a charge nurse on each shift who assists with daily flow and assignments. The team comprises 2 Registered Nurses and 2 Cardiovascular Technicians with a 30-minute call response time. Three 12-hour shifts are scheduled from 0530 to 1800, with a requirement for weekend and holiday on-call duty. Floating requirements are not applicable. The dress code is provided, and uniform color is royal blue. Unit-specific orientation consists of 2 to 3 shifts with a preceptor.
