Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an
Operating Room position in an acute care setting with call and
weekend rotation requirements. Responsibilities - Work in the
Operating Room (OR) of an acute care hospital - Responsible for
surgical patient care - Monday through Friday day shifts from
6:45am to 3:15pm, hours may vary with scheduled procedures - One
day of call per weekday (3pm-7am) and one call weekend (Friday 3pm
to Monday 7am) every five weeks - Weekend and holiday shifts are
required - Utilizes MEDITECH 6.0 EMR system - Must live at least 50
miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted -
Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location
must have a minimum 2-year break before reapplying as a traveler -
Travelers may not work at WVU Medicine facilities for longer than
one year without a 2-year break - Weekend and holiday coverage is
expected as part of the regular rotation Requirements - Active WV
or compact RN license required - Minimum of 2 years recent OR
experience - Current BLS certification required - No BSN required
