If you’re passionate about patient care and eager to grow professionally, apply today! /n /n /n Responsibilities: /n /n - Properly identifies all patients by using two patient identifiers. /n - Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required. /n - Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders. /n - Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly. /n - Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures. /n - Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data. /n - Interacts with patients and co-workers with care, dignity, and respect. /n - Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation. /n /n - Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date. /n - Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT Certified Diagnostic Technologist until the degree is verified. /n /n /n Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: /n /n /n - ARRT Certificate or registry-eligible (must obtain within 6 months of hire). /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire. /n - Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals /n /n /n UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
