the daily operations and key functions of the Weight Management
Institute surgical program including but not limited to: patient
rooming and general patient flow through the department, surgery
scheduling, surgery navigation, surgery pre-authorization, RN
medical triage, and RN case management. The RN Surgery Manager
provides leadership to help support all aspects of the WMI surgery
program including but not limited to: ensuring excellent clinical
patient outcomes and patient experience; operational efficiency and
effectiveness; patient access and scheduling; financial
performance; patient education; staffing effectiveness (number,
competency, and skill mix); and staff recruitment, training,
performance management, and development. Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) -Applicants are required
to obtain a Masters degree within three (3) years of employment b.
Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by
the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or
Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) c. Current
license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
Experience & Training Required: a. Three (3) years of clinical
nursing experience required. b. Two (2) years of medical office and
supervisory experience. 3. Other Skills, Competencies and
Qualifications: a. Working knowledge of clinical and administrative
office functions, medical terminology and population specific
direct patient care b. Ability to interact with patients and staff
during periods of high stress without reacting negatively 100% of
the time – strong communication and conflict resolution skills. c.
Strong human resources skills and knowledge base. Ability to
provide both negative and positive feedback regarding performance,
and to serve as a change agent for performance improvement and
change management. d. Ability to interact effectively with
patients/customers; demonstrated service recovery experience e.
Strong planning and analytical skills f. Ability to problem-solve.
g. Strong organizational skills 4. Level of Physical Demands: a.
Light: Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to
ten pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force

$37.03/hr - $55.55/hr The salary range on this job
posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or
differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience
and geographical location are considered when determining the
starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity

listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the
