Youth & Family Services, Service Coordination, and Senior Services
with an Administrative department to coordinate all services. The
role of the Outpatient Therapist provides critical support services
within the Westmoreland Outpatient Clinic. The Therapist will be
responsible to perform a variety of tasks including assessment,
individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy along with
maintaining documentation standards.

& Responsibilities:
- Work within a client-centered team framework to ensure that
individuals are connected to services of choice, with emphasis on
individualism, strengths and community involvement.
- Manage caseload of clients providing individual, group, family,
and/or couples therapy sessions.
- Provide and oversee the provision of accurate, strength-based,
and culturally competent assessments of individuals within
prescribed timeframes and throughout the client's service
involvement.
- Provide supportive and follow up services as needed. This may
include intervening directly to identify, prevent or manage crisis
situations, using crisis intervention techniques including
de-escalation, conflict resolution, individual and group
strategies.
- Produce participant driven, strengths-based plan for
individual's treatment goals.
- Present and work collaboratively with other team members,
supervisor, director and medical personnel, including presenting
cases.
- Provide timely, accurate, and professionally written
documentation of all service components within the electronic
health record (EHR) per licensing regulations, contractual
requirements and agency policies.
- Comply with all licensing regulations, contractual
requirements, accreditation standards, and agency policies and
procedures related to behavior, supports, documentation, and
management.
- With supervision, takes initiative for learning and
professional development including required 25 hours of training
annually. Working Conditions
- This position provides most services in a clinic setting which
may require mobility up and down stairs and work in spaces for 6-8
hours at a time
- Attendance for staff meetings, supervisions, and trainings are
required and may require some travel to other Familylinks
locations
- Ability to lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds of files.
- May do some pushing, pulling, standing and walking (1-3 hours)
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Mental Health,
Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Rehabilitation or
activity therapies.
- Licensure Preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A valid driver's license along with access to a vehicle.
- Management of work processes along with strong computer skills
for documentation purposes.
- Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA
guidelines and organizational policies.
- Ability to maintain open schedule/site flexibility to perform
and prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
- Communicate with professionalism with client, external
agencies, and supervisor.
