APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple Registered Nurse-LTC for our direct client in New Castle PA for 13 Weeks.Position Title: Registered Nurse-LTCWork Location: New Castle, PAShift: Day and Night, 12 hour (AM)Experience Required: 2+ years in LTCCertification Required: BLS from AHA*Covid Vaccine *Job Description:A long-term care nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who is responsible for caring for patients who required extended medical care. Their patients may have injuries that require a prolonged period for recovery, or they may have a disability or illness. Long-term care nurses also work with the elderly. Long-term care nurses typically work in nursing home facilities, skilled nursing facilities or other medical facilities where patients can receive long-term medical care. Long-term nurses administer medications to patients, coordinate patient care and ensure that patients receive appropriate medical care in a safe environment.Typical Duties

• Develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive patient care plans with medical and clinical staff
• Administer medications, perform vital sign checks and medical procedures, and provide therapeutic treatments such as range-of-motion exercises and massage
• Operate medical equipment, monitor and assess patient status, and record patient information in medical records
• Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing and dressing
• Offer education, emotional support, and guidance for patients, families, and caregivers
