Job Description:
The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for aiding surgeons in
the OR. Operating Room Registered Nurses will prep the OR and the
patient for surgery and make positive that all equipment is clean
and working properly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room Nurse
responsibilities include:
Evaluating the well being of the patient before, during and after
the operation.
Anticipate what the surgeons need and give instruments and supplies
to them during procedures.
Preserving and tracking all items needed for laboratory
examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Registered
Nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
