As a Director of Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions and ensuring compliance with GAAP. You will work closely with the Controller and other department heads to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.Must be located within commuting distance to Greensburg, PA.Why join us?-Generous Medical, Dental, Vision coverageCommuter BenefitsRemote flexibility401k with company matchGenerous PTOJob Details-Responsibilities:Oversee the full close cycle accounting process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsEnsure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirementsDevelop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reportingProvide leadership and guidance to the accounting teamCollaborate with other department heads to develop and implement financial strategiesManage and monitor the budgeting processPrepare and present financial reports to senior managementProvide support for audits and other financial reviewsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA designation preferred10+ years of professional accounting experience3+ years of experience in long term care accounting or related industryStrong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirementsExperience with full close cycle accountingExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting softwareInterested in hearing more?
