Job Description:

Direct the administration, and support of specific critical core banking applications including but not limited to FIS Bankway, FIS Image Centre, nCino, Connections, and other core systems. Manage core banking systems change management process by considering release feature testing and implementation, documentation supporting changes, and systems are appropriately functioning. Provide effective leadership and oversight of the Internet Banking Manager. Manage the System Support Specialist staff within the Applications Department. Perform as a system administrator for assigned core banking systems. Act as a primary project leader by coordinating functions involved with new system implementations and other departments. Perform risk management tasks and vendor management research as directed. Assist as a liaison between AmeriServ, FIS or other key banking vendors.DUTIES:1. Manage, oversee and provide direction to the Systems Support Specialist staff within the Applications Department. Support the Systems Support Specialist with project leadership roles including conforming to the Technology Project Policy.2. Oversee and direct staff in support of the core banking systems along with related FIS systems. Support the tactical aspects of the FIS vendor relationship including invoices/expenses, annual high-risk vendor management review, application risk assessments, disaster recovery testing, and implementation of new features. Establish a network of FIs client peers.3. Manage, oversee and provide direction to the Internet Banking Manager and staff. Support the Internet Banking Manager with leadership roles. Assist Internet Banking Department as needed.4. Manage alternative delivery channels including consumer internet banking, business internet banking, and Telephone banking.5. Manage and support legacy programming activities related to in-house programs or internally customized software applications. Focus on replacing these programming activities with third party vendors.6. Manage and oversite of fraud monitoring systems on various alternative delivery channels.7. Perform as a project leader for new implementations as assigned.8. Manage the duties of the system administrator during and after system implementations as assigned. Perform administration duties on systems assigned by working with third party vendors to setup new employees, remove terminated employees, reset passwords, security changes, establish default standards. Manage and create ad-hoc reports for end-users in various core applications.9. Provide guidance, direction and leadership to departments following the Technology Project Policy including:
a. Lead or assist with the Request for Proposal or Request for Purchase efforts.
b. Assist with Vendor Management approvals for new vendors proposed.
c. Complete policy forms including Systems Implementation Templates, create and maintain project timelines, maintain list of outstanding issues/problems, complete test scripts with expected results and review accuracy of data, and guide departments through the operational changes presented by the project.10. Oversight of the Bankway Change Management Committee, nCino Change Management Committee, Internet Banking Change Management, and other ad-hoc system change management committees on a regular basis with accuracy/enhancement testing.12. Manage and coordinate the year-end tax documentation efforts, ensure regulatory tax documents are reviewed by owning departments and that the balancing and verifications of tax forms are accurate.13. Manage and coordinate participation in vendor-driven disaster recovery testing for core banking and internet banking systems.14. Participate in corporate committees as assigned. Provide reports and documentation as directed.15. Manage the Application Department's annual budget, annual vendor management, IT risk assessments, as assigned.16. Manage internal and external audit requests. Coordinate responses and corrections to Audit finding prior to next audit cycle.17. Responsible for department procedures to ensure repetitive procedures are accurately completed during situations of absenteeism, pandemic, or DRP.18. This position requires supervisor of employee(s).WORK ENVIRONMENT:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The employee is frequently required to: 1) Type or otherwise work with fingers; 2) Talk expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers or clients accurately, loudly, or quickly; 3) Hearing - perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with/without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make the discriminations in sound; 4) Specific vision abilities required by this job include: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.Sedentary work may require occasionally lifting of up to 10 pounds and/or move up to 25 pounds. This work involves sitting most of the time with walking and sitting.TRAVEL:Travel is requested to vendor locations or site visits for this position including training and conferences.

Ethical ConductEDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or other IT related field with at least 10 years' experience supporting bank operations, core-bank applications, or data processing of which 3 years are management/supervisory level. Banking School and other certifications related to banking environment recommended. Project Management, Interpersonal, analytical and communication skills are essential.QualificationsEducationRequiredBachelors or better.ExperienceRequired10 years: Experience supporting bank operations, core-bank applications, or data processing of which 3 years are management/supervisory level.
