We are seeking qualified candidates for a Corporate Reliability Manager position for our client. Candidates can be in driving distance to Hammond, IN, ORTarentum (Pittsburgh North/East side) OR Greensboro, NC OR East Canton, OhioSalary - $95K - $125KThe Corporate Reliability Manager is responsible for optimizing equipment reliability through diagnosis and enhancements, as well as critical spares and other maintenance programs, which will lead to a reduction of maintenance costs in support of all NA Facilities. The Corporate Reliability Manager will be responsible for leading the company's reliability program to enhance the effectiveness of the maintenance organization through development and implementation of various reliability strategies and techniques. The Corporate Reliability Manager is a key element that supports the plants' operations.Basic Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and/or 5-10 years of related experience in progressively more responsible positions in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated competency in preventative, predictive, basic care practices, and computerized maintenance management systemsStrong management with Reliability Centered Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance experience.Six Sigma training or a Reliability training and certifications such as CMRP or CRL is a plusDemonstrable teamwork and maturity with a strong work ethicFluency in spoken and written EnglishAbility to travel within North AmericaRequired Knowledge:Proven knowledge of reliability principles (ie. RCA, FMEA/ FMECA, TPM, RCM, etc.)Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and production processPossesses resource management skills.Knowledge and experience working contemporary concepts of continuous improvement and manufacturing principlesRequired Skills:Demonstrates competency in preventative, predictive, basic care practices, and computerized maintenance management systemsStrong verbal and written communication skills (English language);Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers both verbally and in writing;Ability to work closely with plant managers, staff members, supervisors, team leaders, hourly associates, contractors, and federal/state regulatorsDemonstrates respect for conflicting points of view, listens to others, and builds strong working relationshipsDemonstrates appropriate negotiating tactics and is able to negotiate win/win agreements without compromising principlesStrong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Internet skillsAbility to use a CMMS such as Maximo.Ability to safely negotiate in and around heavy industrial equipment and construction sites;Ability to understand and effectively communicate using engineering drawings and sketches;Strong quantitative problem solving, decision-making and time management skills;Demonstrates the ability to work on cross-functional teams;Responsibilities include:Analyzing equipment performance, failure data, critical spares, predictive and proactive programs, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniquesConducting analyses and investigations to determine relative reliability regarding such factors as cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, availability of materials and equipment, and determines the ability of the product to comply with customer and contractual requirementsDevelop the analysis methods for establishing reliability of company products and their components, prepares sketches, charts, drawings, or reports for further developmentsImproving plant equipment by implementing a program of advanced maintenance methodology including maintenance planning, outage planning, predictive and preventive maintenance techniques, and failure analysis to recommend operational, maintenance, and process changes to maximize equipment reliability, availability, and life expectancySupport plant maintenance and reliability groups in developing critical spares and implementing local programs to drive site reliability and cost managementProviding training and coaching in Root Cause and Reliability Analysis and taking ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation, and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause analysis projects are documentedPartnering with appropriate suppliers and customer technical resources to document best practicesProviding leadership in conducting or arranging for the training of maintenance tasks, techniques, technologies, and concepts for maintenance technicians and support staffRecommending and evaluate process & equipment improvements.Interface with equipment and systems vendors, including expediting documentation.Identify, Implement and Support Digital Initiatives that will improve the Reliability and Maintainability of equipment.Provide leadership to the organization in the implementation of maintenance system, tools and practices.Develop and maintain a set of maintenance standards to be used as a guide by the plants.Support the Safety program and initiatives.Support the Continuous Improvement program and initiatives.
