exciting opportunity available in Boeing Defense, Space & Security
(BDS) Operations Argon team for an Associate Level Manufacturing
Assembler in our Smithfield, PA and/or Lamont Furnace, PA facility.
Position Responsibilities: /n - Performs routine production
assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies,
subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using
manual operations /n - Exhibits a strong commitment to growth,
development and professionalism to drive learning and development
for continuous improvement within the manufacturing team /n - Work
independently to develop, modify, and document actions to assure
problem resolution and/or to implement correction action and/or
preventive action /n - Engages in ongoing learning to build and
maintain necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities /n /n
Knowledge: - Has substantial and thorough understanding of the job.
/n Problem Solving: - Solves routine problems of limited scope and
complexity by following established practices and procedures. /n
Discretion: /n - Receives general supervision with basic
instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new
lines of work or special assignments /n - Performs routine or
standardized work, choosing from a variety of well-established
options. Work is reviewed for soundness and overall adequacy and
accuracy /n /n This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The
selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the
listed location options. This position requires the ability to
obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government
requires U.S. Citizenship. Candidate must be willing to work 1st or
2nd shift. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): /n -
High School Diploma or GED /n - 1 years of experience working in a
Manufacturing Environment /n - 1 years' experience reading,
understanding, engineering drawings and specifications (e.g.,
blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design) /n -
Experience in a highly regulated environment where compliance is
critical /n - Experience with fabrication and/or assembly of
mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry
standards. /n /n Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience): /n - 1 year of experience working with
specialized tools (e.g., electrical and mechanical wire crimpers
and strippers, wire routing tools, accessing computer files,
multimeters) /n - Knowledge of assembly and production processes,
manufacturing capabilities data needed for defining delivery
configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, and
engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics,
functional tests, supplier data) /n - Ability to differentiate
production (manufacturing) processes and requirements from
in-service procedures and requirements. Participates in the
evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment,
technology and processes to ensure that conformance and
reproducibility requirements are met /n - Complete knowledge of
shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD)
prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements and
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) /n /n Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education
(e.g. High School Diploma/GED). Relocation: Relocation assistance

in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Shift:
Candidate must be able to work either 1st or 2nd shift. Drug Free
