Avis Budget Group is seeking a Mobile Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the operational efficiency of our diverse fleet by providing on-site maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics. Working directly with one of the industry's leaders in mobility solutions, the Mobile Truck Mechanic will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our transportation services, reflecting our commitment to customer satisfaction through innovation and leading automotive care. Perform on-site maintenance and emergency repairs for trucks and other rental vehicles. Diagnose failures of vehicles and disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as necessary. Respond to roadside emergencies with a well-equipped vehicle. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventive care. Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles. Comply with all safety protocols and procedures. Proven expertise in diesel engine repair and maintenance. Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and electrical diagnostics. Ability to work independently and handle physical demands of the job. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k ASE Certification in Medium-Heavy Truck. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.
