professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and
construction solutions. Due to MSG's continued growth, we’re
expanding our Transportation Engineering services in Pennsylvania
and developing a dedicated Structures group within our Hermitage,
Cranberry, and Waynesburg offices. We are seeking a
Structure/Bridge Practice Leader to guide bridge and structural
engineering efforts, lead project delivery, and develop technical
talent. This role offers an opportunity to shape a growing practice
and provide leadership on a variety of structural transportation
projects. Key Responsibilities Lead structural design and analysis
for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other
transportation-related structures. Prepare structural calculations,
design reports, load ratings, design plans, and specifications.
Oversee production of structural drawings and coordinate with
roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and survey teams. Manage multiple
structural projects, including budgets, schedules, and client
communication. Review the work of junior engineers and provide
mentorship, training, and technical direction. Conduct quality
control reviews to ensure compliance with PennDOT standards, AASHTO
LRFD, and applicable codes. Support proposals, project scoping, and
business development activities as MSG expands its structural
practice in PA. Attend coordination meetings with clients,
contractors, and internal teams. Lead efforts to improve structural
design processes, workflows, and team development. Skills,
Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with
a structural emphasis or related field. Professional Engineer (PE)
required; Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred. 15 years of
structural engineering experience with bridges or transportation
structures. Experience with PennDOT design criteria and AASHTO LRFD
Bridge Design Specifications. Proficiency in structural analysis
software such as LEAP Bridge, STAAD, LARSA, SAP2000, or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams. Strong technical
writing, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred
Qualifications Experience delivering PennDOT or local agency
projects. Experience conducting load ratings and complex structure
analysis. Ability to support and grow a new structural engineering
