Location: State College, PA Pay Rate: $25 – $30/hour (DOE)
Schedule: 9/80 Shift – Mon–Thu 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, Every Other Fri
7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Flexible) Overview: We are seeking a skilled
Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in State College, PA.
This role is responsible for assembling, soldering, and testing
mechanical and electronic components for high-performance systems.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and thrives in a
fast-paced, collaborative production environment. Key
Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical/electro-mechanical
components, subassemblies, and final products. Follow written and
verbal instructions with a focus on quality and precision. Use hand
tools, soldering equipment, and measurement instruments. Read and
interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material.
Perform hand soldering and basic troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain work area cleanliness and adhere to ESD protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve
processes. Transport materials or equipment up to 30 lbs across the
production floor. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or
equivalent and 4 years of relevant assembly experience, or
Associate’s degree with 0–2 years of related experience. US
Citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Proficiency
with hand tools and soldering techniques. Ability to work from
technical drawings and schematics. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards. Electrical
background at the component level. Soldering and rework experience
under a microscope. Familiarity with RF, analog, and digital
circuitry. Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes,
signal generators, and spectrum analyzers. Soft Skills: Dependable
and punctual. Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
