We're looking for a Cyber Security Engineer in Weirton, WV to help
us.
As a Cyber Engineer, you will configure custom IT security policies
and manage networked devices' operational availability by using
various security applications and systems in cloud or on-prem
network environments. You will provide routine technical support
and maintenance for the network software and operating systems.
Your support can positively affect patients' lives! You will
monitor, triage, and set forth remediation plans to mitigate
security risks and ensure threats are identified, analyzed, and
mitigated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be responsible
for monitoring, triaging and implementing remediation plans to
mitigate security vulnerabilities and resole and patch OS or
software vulnerabilities. This includes identifying and analyzing
potential security vulnerabilities and emerging threats as well as
documenting and containing security incidents detected on the
network. You will also execute incident response process when a
security incident has been declared, as well as document and
present findings to management suitable for customer consumption.
Finally, you will research external trusted intelligence sources
and leverage knowledge to detect events of interest.
Basic Qualifications
At least 6 years of total combined higher education and related
work experience including:
At least 1 year of Information systems security work experience
At least 5 years of higher education and/or additional work
experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
Bachelors degree in Information Security, Information Systems,
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering,
Mathematics or related field, or equivalent relevant work
experience
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year experience with access management
At least 1 year experience with security management
CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst Certification
Security Expectations
Must reside in or around the Weirton, WV area
Ability to obtain the following certifications within 6 months of
employment: GCIA, CEH, GCIH, SCYBER
Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed
by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security
policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding
corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent
and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Responsibilities
Assess existing security issues within the organization
Analyzing risks and conducting ongoing security assessments
Investigate breaches and implement solid plans of incident
response, learning from past shortcomings to create ever more
robust security protocols
Stay on top of industry standards and ensure complete
compliance.
Stay on top of industry developments and apply these in a
considered manner within the organization.
Conduct testing and deliver insightful reports based on
findings
Oversee any developments within the organization to make sure
security is maintained
Outline internal security policies for the organization
Recommend further development to keep the organization in line with
security best practice
Understand and create security policies and procedures
Assist the network and server team with support
