Job Description:

General Summary:Responsible for process development, monitoring and improvement projects, engineering studies, and production/engineering support throughout all areas of facility. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.Education and/or Experience:

  • B.S. in engineering or other technical discipline
  • 2-5 years experience in manufacturingOther Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
    • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Minitab
    • Experience with polymer compounding, injection molding, sintering, or CNC machining
    • Able to design tooling, fixtures, and part using solid modeling software
      • Above average attention to detail
      • Concern for exact correctness of work
      • A strong commitment to on time task completion
      • Ability to work in fast paced manufacturing environment
      • Ability to present technical data concisely in a timely manner
      • Well-organized, safety-conscious, and accountable for actions and performance
      • Sound judgment, problem analysis, and decision-making skills that follow established processes, procedures, and policiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
        • Familiarity with, and ability to perform majority of manufacturing position activities including compounding, molding, furnace loading/unloading, sizing, ability to provide manpower at any rate limiting process.
        • Complete individual or team projects as assigned
        • Coordination of Engineering Studies and monitoring/maintenance of ES System
        • Documentation of Manufacturing Processes Specification and Work Instructions
        • Process development (R&D/Engineering/Manufacturing)
        • Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept to production
        • Hands-on problem solving on the floor
        • Fixture/Gauge design and build
        • Collection, analysis, and presentation of data
        • Perform DOEs and document
        • Minimum travel requirement
        • Follow the standards of ISO13485 and ISO 9001 International StandardsOther duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience:
