active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy

qualifications will not be considered. A Physical Therapist
opportunity is available in Coraopolis, PA, supporting students and
adult clients at a specialized school for visually impaired
children. This contract position focuses on providing expert
physical therapy services to individuals aged 3-22, addressing
unique developmental and orthopedic needs related to school
participation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations
and assessments of student development, gross motor function, and
orthopedic considerations. Determine the need for adaptive
equipment and manage all related activities including communication
with parents and staff, equipment fabrication/adaptation, purchase,
maintenance, and documentation. Develop and implement
individualized physical therapy treatment plans, including aquatic
therapy as needed. Prepare detailed documentation for evaluations,
re-evaluations, individualized education programs (IEPs), progress
reports, and educational records. Collaborate closely with the
educational team to ensure best practices, appropriate student
programming, and progress monitoring. Provide consultation and
training to families, classroom, and residential staff concerning
therapeutic activities, positioning, and student needs. Supervise
physical therapist assistants, aides, and student therapists in
compliance with state regulations. Participate actively in team
meetings, staffings, clinic appointments, and in-service trainings.
Consult with medical staff regarding therapy prescriptions and
recommendations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Desired
Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in
school settings. Ability to assess and manage adaptive equipment
needs. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience
with aquatic therapy is a plus. Knowledge of state regulations for
supervision of assistants and student therapists. This role offers
