Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
opportunity is available for a visually impaired teacher to support
multiple school districts across Washington County, PA. This
position involves working with a K-12 caseload, providing
specialized instruction to students with visual impairments. The
role requires flexibility to travel between various sites within
the county, ensuring comprehensive support to all assigned
districts. Some part-time virtual opportunities may be available
depending on district preferences. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
specialized instruction and support to students with visual
impairments across K-12 grade levels. Develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique
needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and
families to promote student success. Travel to multiple district
sites within Washington County regularly to provide on-site
services. Maintain accurate records of services provided and
student progress. Utilize technology and adaptive tools appropriate
for visually impaired students. Qualifications and Experience:
Active certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI
Educator Certificate) is required. Experience working with K-12
students with visual impairments. Ability to manage a caseload
spanning multiple districts. Comfortable with traveling between
sites within the county. Strong organizational and communication
skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part
of a team. Location: Washington County, Pennsylvania (Coal Center
and surrounding districts) Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per
week, contract through June 16, 2026. This role offers the
