Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Physical Therapist (PT) role is available for an Extended School Year (ESY) contract in Huntingdon County, PA, serving two nearby school sites. This position offers per diem hours during the summer of 2026, providing therapy to a small caseload of students with individualized sessions. Location: Huntingdon County, PA (two schools within 15-20 minutes of each other) Contract Type: Per Diem ESY position for summer 2026 Dates and Caseload Details: - June 23, 2026 July 16, 2026 (4 weeks): - Serve 4 students - Two sessions of 30 minutes each over 4 weeks - One 45-minute session per week for one student - One 30-minute session per week for another student - June 22, 2026 August 3, 2026 (6 weeks): - Serve 1 student with session times to be determined Key Responsibilities: - Provide physical therapy services in compliance with PDE requirements - Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions focused on individual student needs - Collaborate with school staff to support student progress - Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student outcomes - Commit to in-person therapy sessions exclusively Qualifications: - Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant credentials - Experience working in school settings preferred - Understanding of PDE standards and compliance - Ability to manage a small caseload during ESY - Reliable transportation between the two nearby school sites This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to student success during the ESY program with flexible per diem scheduling in a school environment.
