Job Description:
The Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh
School of Medicine and UPMC is seeking a faculty candidate in the
Headache Division. The faculty will serve as a clinician or
clinician-scientist in the Headache program under the leadership of
Dr. Page B. Pennell, Chair of Neurology and Dr. Robert Kaniecki,
Headache Division Chief. Must have an MD or DO degree and have
completed a Headache fellowship. The applicant must be board
certified/eligible in Neurology and Headache Medicine with the
ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. Opportunity Details -
Become part of the Headache Division within the Department of
Neurology, with 5 adult and 1 pediatric headache board-certified
physicians, 3 APPs, and 1-2 fellows each year. - Collaborate with
neuroophthalmology, neurovestibular, psychiatry and neurosurgical
colleagues as well as clinicians in the internationally recognized
UPMC Concussion program. - Leverage available clinical research

the most active clinical operations in the US - Completed Headache
Center clinical space expansion and renovation in 2019 with
patient-centered improvements in waiting and exam room lighting and

science, and translational studies in the department has increased
steadily and in FY25 the department received over $25 million in
research support. - The Department of Neurology was awarded the
NINDS UE5 to support research training of residents and fellows,
