Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language
pathology services within elementary and preschool educational
settings in Mc Veytown, PA, and surrounding counties. The role
focuses on supporting students aged 3 to 5 in diverse environments
such as local preschools and early childhood programs. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and
interventions tailored to young children in preschool settings.
Collaborate with educators, families, and community programs to
support student communication development. Manage an itinerant
caseload, traveling between multiple sites within Juniata and
Mifflin County. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with
educational and therapeutic guidelines. Participate in team
meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications and Experience: Certification as a Speech-Language
Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Valid
Educator Credential in Special Education for Pre-K through 12th
grade. Experience working with preschool-aged children in
educational or clinical environments. Ability to work in-person and
travel to multiple locations as part of an itinerant service model.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators,
families, and support staff. Location: Mc Veytown, PA, with service
throughout Juniata and Mifflin Counties. Employment Details:
Contract position spanning the current school year through June 19,
2026. Part-time schedule, approximately 21 to 24 hours per week
over three days. Potential for increased hours over time based on
