Sewickley Academy is seeking to hire a Spanish teacher with a strong academic background and previous teaching experience. The successful candidate will be a member of the World Languages department and will be expected to teach a range of Spanish courses from Levels I-AP.   The teaching load will be five sections drawn from a range of World Language courses. In addition to becoming a member of our World Language department, the successful candidate will serve as an advisor to a group of 8-10 advisees and take on additional responsibilities such as advising a club or serving on a committee.
  
  QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in Spanish is required, and a Master's degree preferred.
    
  • Multilingual skills are not required but are preferred.
    
  • Ideal candidates will have at least three years of secondary school teaching experience.
