Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Installer Job Description Join a respected mechanical contractor in Central Pennsylvania as an HVAC Installer. We are seeking a skilled professional who values quality workmanship, efficiency, and a positive, team-oriented work environment. This role involves installing, assembling, and commissioning HVAC systems on commercial job sites. Responsibilities Install commercial HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, rooftop units, and air handlers. Measure, fabricate, and place sheet metal ducting and fittings. Set, anchor, and connect HVAC equipment. Perform refrigerant piping, brazing, and basic electrical connections per code and manufacturer guidelines. Assist in startup and commissioning of new equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job specifications. Coordinate with project managers and crew leaders to maintain project schedules. Ensure all work aligns with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation of completed work. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Operate job-site tools and equipment safely. Identify and communicate issues, delays, or needs to supervisors. Represent the company with professionalism on all job sites. Essential Skills At least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC installation. Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and duct installation. Ability to read blueprints and follow layout instructions. Must have own tools and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State College, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
