Job Description:
Maintenance 1-Helper performs a variety of light maintenance and
janitorial custodial duties for residents, offices, and common
areas and community as a whole. Schedule: FULL-TIME Monday -
Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Pay range: $18.00-$20.00/hour, depending
on experience To be successful in this role, you should have: High
school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a related field of
building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination
of training and experience which provides the required skills,
knowledge and abilities. Attendance at a technical training
institute or program preferred. Work Duties Clean common areas,
including public restrooms, elevators, offices, public rooms,
beauty salon, resident and employee lounges; Performs assigned
maintenance duties and routine preventative maintenance including:
general electric tasks- lock out/tag out, bulb replacement, fixture
change out, fuse replacement, light switch replacement general
plumbing tasks- changing out faucets, plunging toilets, replacing
wax ring, rebuilding toilets, clearing drain general maintenance
orders- Hanging pictures, blinds, hardware, changing bulbs, HVAC
filters, and batteries Assist with refurbishment projects and
repairs; Install, finish, repair, paint, remove and dispose of
drywall or other material; Strips, seals, waxes and buffs floor
surfaces and performs daily floor maintenance; cleans and shampoos
