Staff Accountant: Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will assist with general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a desire to grow within the accounting field. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Maintain and update general ledger accounts Support the preparation of financial statements and reports Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines The Staff Accountant is fully onsite in Kent, OH with a salary of $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.
