Medical Billing Specialist Location: Pittsburgh, PA We are
seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Specialist
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with
insurance claims, patient billing, and navigating electronic health
records (EHR) systems. This is a great opportunity to work in a
supportive and fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities
of the Medical Billing Specialist: Prepare and submit clean
insurance claims to payers, both electronically and by paper.
Review and follow up on unpaid or denied claims. The Medical
Billing Specialist will post payments and reconcile accounts.
Communicate with patients regarding balances and payment plans.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with billing
regulations. Qualifications of the Medical Billing Specialist:
Previous experience in medical billing or healthcare administration
preferred. Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to
communicate clearly and professionally with patients and insurance
companies. High school diploma or equivalent; billing certification
is a plus.
