Quality Life Services is looking to add an Assistant Controller to our team. As an Assistant Controller you will be assisting our Controller in the oversight of our accounting department and providing support to the accounting team.Are you the right fit? - You have supervisory or management experience in the accounting industry - You have a strong grasp on accounting/controller processes - Healthcare experience and knowledge of regulatory standards - A desire to work with as part of a team with a company who values what you bring to the tableIf so, we want to hear from you!About Quality Life ServicesWe are a family owned and operated healthcare network in Western PA. We see our employees as a part of our family.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing all accounting department activitiesResponsible for month end and year end closings and maintaining corresponding schedules.Preparing monthly financial statements for all entities in accordance with GAAP.Making adjusting journal entries to support month end closingMaintain cash reporting processes in support of the ControllerPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliationsProviding accounting support to all companies and employeesSupport the Controller with special projects and assignmentsOther responsibilities as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience3 - 5 years' experience in management of accounting servicesExcellent communication skillsPrior healthcare experience preferredThis position has some remote work flexibilityApply to join the Quality Life Services team today!At Quality Life Services, we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our residents, and our communities.
